Operation17AttachmentsConnectingIMPORTANT: Use only Toro approvedattachments. Attachments can change thestability and the operating characteristics ofthe machine. The warranty of the machinemay be voided if used with un–approvedattachments.IMPORTANT: Before connecting anyattachments to machine, make sure mountplates are free of any dirt or debris.1. Move pump control lever to slow (turtle)position. Start engine.2. Slowly push the attachment tilt lever forward totilt the attachment mount plate forward.3. Position mount plate into the upper lip of theattachments receiver plate.4. Raise the loader arms while tilting back themount plate at the same time.IMPORTANT: The attachment should beraised enough to clear the ground and themount plate tilted all the way back.5. Turn the ignition key to “OFF” to stop theengine.6. Engage the attachment lock pins.Note: Lock pins are located on the operatorside of the mount plate and should beturned toward the inside to engage.Note: Proceed to next step if auxiliaryhydraulics are required withattachment.IMPORTANT: Make sure all foreign matteris cleaned from hydraulic connections beforemaking connections.7. Move the auxiliary hydraulics lever to theforward, backward and back to neutral positionto relieve hydraulic pressure at the hydrauliccouplers.8. Remove protective covers from hydrauliccouplers on machine. Connect covers together toprevent contamination during operation.9. Slide collar back on hydraulic coupler andconnect attachment couplers to machinecouplers.10. Confirm that connection is secure by pulling onhoses.Disconnecting1. Start engine and lower the attachment to theground or onto a trailer.2. Turn the ignition key to “OFF” to stop theengine.3. Disengage the attachment lock pins by turningthem to the outside.4. Slide collar back on hydraulic coupler anddisconnect attachment couplers from machinecouplers.IMPORTANT: Connect attachment hosestogether to prevent hydraulic systemcontamination during storage.5. Install protective covers onto machines hydrauliccouplers.6. Start engine, tilt the mount plate forward andback machine away from attachment.
