Check the fan shaft bearing mountingbolts and nuts frequently to be sure that theyare tightened to specification.• Make sure that all hydraulic line connectors aretight and all hydraulic hoses and lines are ingood condition before applying pressure to thesystem.• Keep your body and hands away from pin holeleaks in hydraulic lines that eject high pressurehydraulic fluid. Use cardboard or paper to findhydraulic leaks. Hydraulic fluid escaping underpressure can penetrate skin and cause injury.Fluid accidentally injected into the skin mustbe surgically removed within a few hours bya doctor familiar with this form of injury organgrene may result.• Before disconnecting or performing any workon the hydraulic system, all pressure in thesystem must be relieved by stopping the engineand lowering the blower to the ground.• If the engine must be running to perform amaintenance adjustment, keep hands, feet,clothing, and other parts of the body awayfrom the fan and other moving parts.• Do not overspeed the engine by changing thegovernor settings. To be sure of safety andaccuracy, have an Authorized Toro Distributorcheck the maximum engine speed with atachometer.• The engine must be shut off before checkingthe oil or adding oil to the crankcase.• To ensure optimum performance and safety,always purchase genuine Toro replacementparts and accessories to keep the machineall Toro. Never use “will-fit” replacementparts and accessories made by othermanufacturers. Look for the Toro logoto ensure genuineness.
