Chassis MaintenanceAdjusting the Cargo-BedLatchesIf the cargo-bed latch is out of adjustment, the cargobed vibrates up and down as you drive the machine.You can adjust the latch posts to make the latcheshold the cargo bed snugly to the chassis.1. Verify that the cargo bed is latching.Note: If the cargo bed does not latch, thebed-latch striker is likely too low. If the cargobed latches, but vibrates up and down as youdrive, the bed-latch striker is likely too high.2. Raise the cargo bed; Raising the Cargo Bed tothe Dump Position (page 22).3. Verify that the adjustment is correct by latchingthe cargo bed several times.CleaningWashing the MachineService Interval: Before each use or daily—Washthe machine.Wash the machine as needed using water aloneor with a mild detergent. You may use a rag whenwashing the machine.Important: Do not use brackish or reclaimedwater to clean the machine.Important: Pressurized water is notrecommended when washing the machine. It maydamage the electrical system, loosen importantdecals, or wash away necessary grease at frictionpoints. Avoid excessive use of water, especiallynear the control panel, motor, motor controller,charger, back of the dashboard, and batteries.47
