TASCAM US-200 13Installing the driver and controlpanel for WindowsNOTEDuring driver installation, a warning that•“this software ... has not passed WindowsLogo testing“ will appear.This message appears when installing adriver that has not received Windows Logotesting.This message appears because the driversfor TASCAM products have not undergoneWindows Logo testing. We have, however,confirmed their proper operation.When this message appears, clickContinue anyway or Install to continue theinstallation.During installation, you must connect the•unit in step 7. You should complete theinstallation step in less than one minute.Installation may fail if you take too muchtime.Installation on a Windows computer1 Confirm that the unit and the PC are notconnected by a USB cable.2 Insert the included driver installationCD-ROM into the PC where you willinstall it.3 Click the Install Driver button when thescreen below appears. (If this sreendoes not appear automatically, find andopen the Autorun2.exe program in theAutorun folder on the driver CD-ROM.)4 When the language selection screen(below) appears, select the languageyou prefer and then click the OK button.5 Click the Install the driver button whenthe screen below appears.6 Read the contents of the LicenseAgreement, and select I accept theagreement if you agree to the terms.Next, click the Install button to startinstallation.7 When the screen below appears, usethe supplied USB cable to connect theunit to the PC.3 − Installation
