To transfer contacts to your new device using PC Companion1 Make sure that PC Companion is installed on your PC.2 Open the PC Companion program on the PC, then click Contacts Setup andfollow the instructions to transfer your contacts.Transferring contacts using an Apple® Mac® computerFor detailed instructions on how to use an Apple Mac computer to transfer contactsfrom your old device, go to Transfer your contacts.Transferring contacts using synchronisation accountsYour device works with popular online synchronisation accounts such as Microsoft®Exchange ActiveSync®. If you have synced the contacts in your old device or yourcomputer with an online account, you can transfer your contacts to your new deviceusing that account. For more detailed information about synchronisation, seeSynchronising your corporate email, calendar and contacts on page 92.To synchronise contacts on your device with a synchronisation account1 From your Home screen, tap , then tap .2 Tap , then tap Settings > Accounts & sync.3 If you have already set up a synchronisation account and you want to syncwith that account, tap the account, then tap , and tap Sync now.Transferring contacts from a SIM cardTo import contacts from a SIM card1 From your Home screen, tap , then tap .2 Press , then tap Import contacts > SIM card.3 If you have set up a synchronisation account, you can choose to add the SIMcard contacts under that account. Or you can choose to only use thesecontacts on your device. Select your desired option.4 To import an individual contact, find and tap the contact. To import allcontacts, tap Import all.Transferring contacts from a memory cardTo import contacts from a memory card1 From your Home screen, tap , then tap .2 Press , then tap Import contacts > SD card.3 If you have set up a synchronisation account, you can add the importedmemory card contacts under that account. Or you can choose to only use theimported contacts on your device. Select your desired option.4 If you have more than one vCard file on the SD card, a list appears showingdifferent batches of contacts saved on your device, with the correspondingdates for when they were created. Select the batch that you want to import.Receiving contacts from other devicesTo receive contact data sent using Bluetooth™ technology1 Make sure you have the Bluetooth™ function turned on and your device set tovisible.
