3OverviewOverviewThe XC-EU50/EU50CE is a monochrome videocamera module with a 1/2 type CCD for industrial use.With its sensitivity around the near ultraviolet range(around 360 nm), utilized the feature of the shorterwavelength range characteristics and very detailed datacan be detected.Small scratches, dust or blemishes hardly visible to thenaked eye can be captured as a clear image bycombining the camera with a light source that has awavelength of about 360 nm.This model inherited compact size, rear panel modeswitches from the XC-E series and is ideal for use inindustrial applications.Main FeaturesVarious mode settingsRear panel switches allow the following mode settings.• Gain: Auto/Manual• γ compensation• Synchronized input/output• Potential accumulation: FRAME/FIELD• 75 Ω termination• Shutter: Normal/Trigger shutterExternal synchronizationThe camera module automatically determines whetherto operate in interlace or non-interlace mode from theHD (horizontal drive) and VD (vertical drive) signalsinput for external synchronization.Internal sync signal outputYou can output the HD and VD signals from the 12-pin connector by changing the setting of the rear panelswitch.External trigger shutter function (EIA: 1/4to 1/10,000 seconds, CCIR: 1/4 to 1/8,000seconds)You can obtain a freeze picture by inputting anexternal trigger. This function is useful for shooting afast-moving object clearly.Restart/Reset functionInputting external HD and VD signals (2 VD or more)continuously can catch one image at an arbitrary pointin time and control the stored CCD.This function is used for long exposures and withstrobe for frame image output.Body fixingMounting screw holes are provided in the referenceplane on the lower surface of the body, allowingmounting with the absolute minimum deviation of theoptical axis.The connector complies with the new EIAJ12-pin pin assignmentThe new pin arrangement allows the connector toaccept a trigger pulse and a WEN signal. |
