6-2Recording Voice Annotations1 When the switch on the left side of the microphone is pressed, this function is ON, andwhen released it goes OFF. This makes it possible to record only the necessary sounds.2 The brightness of the MIC (Microphone) LED varies according to the microphoneinput level.Note1. The recording level can be adjusted automatically with the recorder’s AGC function.2. Sound cannot be output from the speaker in the REC mode or while the earphone isbeing used.Playback Voice Annotations• When the ANN/P-SV key is pressed so that the ANN LED lights, voice annotationsrecorded on the tape can be played back through the speaker (or the earphone when thePHONE jack is used). Adjust the volume with the VOL knob.Note• When the ANN/P-SV key is pressed so that the DATA LED lights, the monitorchannel’s data signal is played back as sound from the speaker or the earphone.• When the tape speed during recording and playback differ, the pitch (signal frequency)of voice annotations differs from the original one.• The existence of voice annotations can be checked by the light of MIC LED while theVOL knob is in the minimum position. |
