BLUETOOTH wireless technology operates withina range of about 10 m.You do not need to use a cable for connection, nor is it necessary for thedevices to face one another, such is the case with infrared technology. Forexample, you can use such a device in a bag or pocket.BLUETOOTH standard is an international standard supported by thousands ofcompanies all over the world, and employed by various companies worldwide.Maximum communication rangeMaximum communication range may shorten under the following conditions.– There is an obstacle such as a person, metal, or wall between the systemand BLUETOOTH device.– A wireless LAN device is in use near the system.– A microwave oven is in use near the system.– A device that generates electromagnetic radiation is in use near thesystem.– The transmitter is connected to other BLUETOOTH devices.Interference from other devicesBecause BLUETOOTH devices and wireless LAN (IEEE802.11b/g/n) use thesame frequency, microwave interference may occur and resulting incommunication speed deterioration, noise, or invalid connection if the systemis used near a wireless LAN device. In such a case, perform the following.– Use the system at least 10 m away from the wireless LAN device.– If the system is used within 10 m of a wireless LAN device, turn off thewireless LAN device.Interference to other devicesMicrowaves emitting from a BLUETOOTH device may affect the operation ofelectronic medical devices. Turn off the system and other BLUETOOTH devicesin the following locations, as it may cause an accident.– where inflammable gas is present, in a hospital, train, airplane, or a gasstation– near automatic doors or a fire alarmNotes• To be able to use the BLUETOOTH function, the BLUETOOTH device to beconnected requires the same profile as the system’s.Note also that even if the same profile exists, devices may vary in functiondepending on their specifications.• Due to the characteristic of BLUETOOTH wireless technology, the soundplayed on the system is slightly delayed from the sound played on theBLUETOOTH device during music playback. Particularly when receivingsound for a video, the sound may be later than the visual.• This system supports security capabilities that comply with the BLUETOOTHstandard to provide a secure connection when the BLUETOOTH wirelesstechnology is used, but security may not be enough depending on thesetting. Be careful when communicating using BLUETOOTH wirelesstechnology.• We do not take any responsibility for the leakage of information duringBLUETOOTH communication.• A device featuring the BLUETOOTH function is required to conform to theBLUETOOTH standard specified by Bluetooth SIG, and be authenticated.Even if the connected device conforms to the above mentioned BLUETOOTHstandard, some devices may not be connected or work correctly, dependingon the features or specifications of the device.• Noise or sound skips may occur depending on the BLUETOOTH deviceconnected with the system, the communication environment or the usageenvironment.SpecificationsLED sectionTotal flux 500 lumensPower consumption 8.6 WLight color Warm white (2700K)Screw base E26 type screw baseDistribution of luminous intensitySemi-omni distributionSpeaker sectionSpeaker system Approx. 40 mm (1.6 in) dia.BLUETOOTHCommunication SystemBLUETOOTH Specification version 4.1Output BLUETOOTH Specification Power Class 1Frequency band 2.4 GHz band (2.4000 GHz - 2.4835 GHz)Modulation method FHSSCompatible BLUETOOTH Profiles*1A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile)AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile)Supported Codecs* 2 SBC* 3, AACContent protection SCMS-T methodTransmission range (A2DP)20 Hz - 20,000 Hz (Sampling frequency 44.1 kHz)*1 BLUETOOTH standard profiles indicate the purpose of BLUETOOTHcommunication between devices.*2 Codec: Audio signal compression and conversion format*3 Subband CodecGeneralPower AC 120 V 60 HzOperating environment and temperatureIndoor at 5 °C to 40 °C (41 °F to 104 °F)Dimensions (including projecting parts)Approx. 61 mm dia. × 116 mm (2.4 in dia. × 4.6 in)Mass Approx. 198 g (7 oz)Supplied accessoriesRemote control (1)Lithium battery for remote control (CR2032,pre-installed, for testing) (1)Startup Guide (1)Reference Guide (this document) (1)Warranty card (1)iPhone/iPod models that can use SongPal withthis productCompatible model BLUETOOTH®iPhone 6s Plus iPhone 6s iPhone 6 Plus iPhone 6 iPhone 5s iPhone 5c iPhone 5 iPhone 4s iPod touch (6th generation) iPod touch (5th generation) as of April 2016SongPal is compatible with iPhone and iPod touch only.Design and specifications are subject to change without notice.LED Bulb SpeakerLSPX-102E26©2016 Sony Corporation Printed in Japanhttp://www.sony.net/4-579-895-13(1)Reference GuideGuide de référence |
