85Performing with a computer3 Connect the Handycam Station tothe wall socket using the suppliedAC Adaptor.4 Set the camcorder onto theHandycam Station, then slide thePOWER switch to turn on.• When you set the camcorder onto theHandycam Station, connect securely onto theinterface connector of the Handycam Station(p.73).• You can perform this operation, whenwhichever position of the (Movie) /(Still) / (PLAY/EDIT) is lit.5 Connect the (USB) jack of theHandycam Station to a computerusing the supplied USB cable.[USB SELECT] appears on the LCDscreen of the camcorder.• For connecting with the USB cable, seepage 81.• Make sure no other USB devices areconnected to your computer.• If your computer has a USB keyboard and aUSB mouse as standard equipment, leavethem connected and connect the HandycamStation to an available USB jack with the USBcable.6 Touch [ HDD] on the LCDscreen of the camcorder.ImageMixer Menu appears on the screenof the computer.• If the screen other than the ImageMixer Menuappears, close the screen.7 Click [Easy PC Back-up] on thescreen of the computer.The setting screen appears.8 Apply the settings for copyingimages, then click [Startimporting].AImages to be copiedSelect if you want to copy movies and stillimages individually.
