However, topower the Main Unit off, be sure to perform theprocedure on page 3-10 unless otherwise directed bySony service representative or unless trouble occurs.3 Power indicator (green)Lights in green when the Main Unit has bootednormally.4 PHONES connector (stereo phone jack) andLEVEL knobYou can connect headphones to monitor the audiobeing edited. Rotate the LEVEL knob to adjust theaudio level.5 MON (monitor) indicator (green)This indicator lights and goes out to indicate thefollowing.Lit: The AV I/O Block is operating normally.Flashing: A hardware malfunction has occurred in theAV I/O Block.Not lit: The AV I/O Block is in power-saving mode.6 OPE (operation) indicator (amber)This indicator is lit when the CPU of the AV I/O Blockis operating.7 Floppy disk slotInsert floppy disks here.8 Floppy disk eject buttonPress to eject a floppy disk.NoteNever eject a floppy disk when the floppy disk activeindicator is lit. Doing so can damage the data on thefloppy disk.9 Floppy disk active indicator (green)Lights in green when the floppy disk drive is accessingdata.q; Tray open/close buttonPress to open or close the disc tray.qa Disc trayTo load a disc, place it on this tray and then press thetray open/close button.qs Active indicatorLights when the disc drive is accessing the data on adisc.qd Tray eject holeIf the disc tray does not open when you press the trayopen/close button, insert a narrow rod into this holeand press the switch inside.For details, see Section 3-4-2 “Using Disc Media” (page 3-12).2-1 Main Unit |
