Backup BatteryTo store a part of setup data and a real-time clock, Ni-Cdbatteries are installed on CPU-119 board in BKDM-3010.To charge the Ni-Cd batteries sufficiently, turn on thepower of DME-3000/7000 about ten hours. The sufficient-ly charged Ni-Cd batteries enable data to be stored forabout one week.nThe life of a Ni-Cd battery is about ten years. Replace theNi-Cd battery after a lapse of ten years since this unit isinstalled or the battery is last replaced. (For the replace-ment procedure of the battery, refer to the MaintenanceManual Part 2.)3-5. Replacement of Printed CircuitBoards3-5-1. CPU-119 Board1. Remove the bottom plate.(Refer to the section 3-2.)2. Remove the hexagonal cap screws securing the threeD-SUB connectors at the rear of the bottom plate.3.
