LIMITED WARRANTY (U.S. ONLY)SONY ELECTRONICS INC. (“SONY”) warrants this product against defects in material or workmanshipfor the original and any subsequent end user owner(s) (“You” or “Your”) for the time periods and as setforth below when purchased directly from Sony or a Sony Retailer. Under this Limited Warranty, SONYwill, at its option, (i) repair the product using new or refurbished parts or (ii) replace the product with anew or refurbished product. “Refurbished” means a product or part that has been returned to its originalspecifications. These are Your exclusive remedies. SONY does not warrant that the operation ofthe product will be uninterrupted or error-free.Term: Three (3) years from the original date of purchase of the product (or ninety (90) days from originaldate of purchase for commercial use). This Limited Warranty is transferable. However, any transfer of thisproduct does not extend the term. A copy of the dated receipt from Sony or a Sony Retailer orbill of sale from the original end user purchase is required to determine coverage. Onlineauction confirmations are not accepted for warranty verification.Product Coverage: Only the hardware components packaged with the Product are covered. Technicalassistance for hardware or software usage and any software products are not covered. Any softwareis provided “AS IS” unless expressly provided for in any enclosed software Limited Warranty. Whena product or part is exchanged, the original item becomes SONY’s property. Any replacement productprovided under this limited warranty may vary in the color and/or cosmetic design from the originalproduct and may not include any original engraving or similar customization.Instructions: You must contact SONY or an authorized servicer prior to returning any product for warrantyservice. SONY will not reimburse You for service performed by others.
