Any differences in operationare clearly indicated in the text, for example, "BM-577 only."Operation Flow ChartInsert the batteries.Insert a cassette.Select the tape speed and microphone sensitivity.Set the TAPE COUNTER to 000.Make sure that the LOCK switch is set to theopposite direction of the arrow.Set the VOR switch to ON, if necessary.Start dictation with the built-in microphone.Record the electronic index signal to provideeasy access of transcription.
