(The figure is the MSW-M2000/M2000P.)1 Hold down the DMC EDIT/FEED button, and turnthe search dial to set the playback speed.During MPEG IMX playback, you can set singleor double speed.2 Hold down the DMC EDIT/FEED button, andpress the PLAY button.Both buttons light, and playback in feed modestarts.3 Where you wish to stop playback, press the STOPbutton.Playback stops.Auto feed playbackAuto feed playback is a function for feed modeplayback of the segment between a specified IN pointand OUT point.By connecting this unit to a recorder VTR with aRECEIVE STANDBY function (MAV-555/2000 etc.)via the SDTI-CONTROL PANEL interface andexecuting auto feed playback on this unit, you canrecord the interval between the IN and OUT points onthe recorder.1 On the HOME page of the function menu, set F4(CTL/TC) to TC.2 Start playback and, with the ENTRY button helddown, press the IN button (MSW-M2000/M2000P) or the STUNT IN button (MSW-M2100/M2100P) at the point where you want to set the INpoint. To set the OUT point, press the OUT button(MSW-M2000/M2000P) or the STUNT OUTbutton (MSW-M2100/M2100P) with the ENTRYbutton held down.3 With the DMC EDIT/FEED button held down,press PREVIEW button (MSW-M2000/M2000P)or the LEARN button (MSW-M2100/M2100P).(Before starting, refer to step 1 of the previoussection “Carrying out playback in feed mode” andset the feed mode playback speed.)The VTR prerolls to a point 5 seconds before theIN point (this can be changed with item 001 of thebasic menu) and starts auto feed playback.Playback stops after postroll for 2 seconds beyondthe OUT point.The segment between the IN and OUT points isrecorded on the recorder.Z2 3 1Speed display area01.10.19, 0:09 PMPage 5
