Prepare the Computer.CAUTION: Make sure thecomputer is turned off, the lid isclosed, and the AC Adapter isdisconnected. Failure to do so canresult in damage to the computer.Place the computer upside down on aprotected surface with the front edgefacing you.Step 2. Remove the Battery Pack.Locate the release tab as shown in thepicture.1. Slide the left battery tab to theunlock position.2. With your finger slide the rightbattery tab in the releasedirection and hold.3. Push battery pack away fromyou to remove.(ODD Removal) Steps 3-6Step 3. Locate ODD Bay.Rotate the computer with the OpticalDisk Drive (ODD) Bay facing you asshown in the picture.These easy instructions are intended to guide you through the replacement process.
