Refer to theinstruction manual supplied with the disc.• Depending on BDs or DVDs recorded on otherequipment, title lists or title names may not bedisplayed.To resume playback from the point whereyou stopped (Resume Play)After stopping playback, select using M/m, and press N PLAY or ENTER.The player resumes playback from the pointwhere you pressed x STOP.To start from the beginning, press OPTIONSto select “Play from beginning,” and pressENTER. Playback starts from the beginningof the title.b• The point where you stopped playing is clearedfrom memory when:– you open the disc tray,– you play another title,– you change the settings on the player, or– you remove the external memory (for BD-ROMs).• The player may not resume playback dependingon the disc or stop point.To play restricted BDs or DVDs (ParentalControl)When you play a restricted BD, change the“BD Parental Control” setting in the “BD/DVD Viewing Settings” setup (page 46).When you play a restricted DVD, the displayfor entering your password appears on thescreen.Enter your four-digit password using thenumber buttons, and press ENTER.Playback starts.To register or change the password, see“Password” (page 48).To play restricted BD-REs or BD-Rs (DiscLock)When you play a BD-RE or BD-R restrictedby the Disc Lock function, the display forentering your password appears on thescreen.1 Enter the four-digit password that hasbeen registered when creating the discusing the number buttons, and pressENTER.2 Select a title, and press N PLAY orENTER.Playback starts.One-Touch Play (for HDMI connectiononly)Press N PLAY.The player and the connected TV turn on andthe input selector on the TV is switched to theplayer, then playback starts automatically.b• When using the HDMI connection, there may bea delay before the playback picture appears on thescreen, and the beginning portion of the playbackpicture may not be displayed.• To use the One-Touch Play function, set “Controlfor HDMI” to “On” in the “System Settings”setup (page 49).,continued
