This Quick Start Guide is part of the product.Selecting operating mode and initial useSelect “Access Point” or “Repeater” operating mode. The Dual-Band WiFi Range Extender should be placed near (approx. 2 to 3metres) the WiFi router the first time it is used. After you havereleased the WPS button, the WPS LED flashes rapidly forapprox. 2 minutes.(Symbolic representation, connection button (WPS) can be differently arranged and designated depending on the routermodel)Within these 2 minutes, press the connection button (WPS) on your WiFi router. To do so, refer to thedocumentation that came with your WiFi router. Once the connection has been successfullyestablished, the Field strength indicator displays the signal strength on the Dual-Band WiFi RangeExtender.It may take up to 3 minutes to establish the connection!You can now use the Dual-Band WiFi Range Extender where the wireless signal is to be extended. The optimum location for the Dual-Band WiFi Range Extender isexactly in the middle between your WiFi router and wireless devices, which are to be connected to the wireless network via the Dual-Band WiFi Range Extender. Waituntil the Field strength indicator shows the signal strength. If the signal strength is weak, the Dual-Band WiFi Range Extender must be placed closer to the WiFi router.The Dual-Band WiFi Range Extender can be accessed under the SSID (Wireless name) and the network key of your WiFi router. Your network key can usually befound on your router, provided it has not been changed by you.
