The criteria for interconnectionis that the voltage and current which intrinsically safe apparatus can receive and remainintrinsically safe, considering faults, must be equal to or greater than the output voltage(Uo) and output current (Io) levels which can be delivered by the associated apparatus, considering faults and applicable factors. In addition, the maximum unprotectedcapacitance (Ci) and Inductance (Li) of the intrinsically safe apparatus, includinginterconnecting wiring, must be equal to or less than the capacitance and inductancewhich can be safely connected to associated apparatus.Under the FISCO evaluation concept, SITRANS Probe LU has the followingcharacteristics:(input voltage) Ui = 24 V DC (max.)(input current) Ii = 250 mA DC (max.)(input power) Pi = 1.2 W(internal capacitance) Ci = 0.5 nF(internal inductance) Li = 0(input voltage) Ui = 17.5 V(input current) Ii = 380 mA(input power) Pi = 5.32 W(internal capacitance) Ci = 0.5 nF(internal inductance) Li = 0Oxley Creek WWTP Water Reclamation(Probe LU Manual) Vendor ManualDoc Id: VM11Active Date: 15/12/2006
