Use cautionwhen reaching behind or under appliance.CAUTION• Installation must conform with local codes or, inthe absence of local codes, with the NationalFuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1.• The appliance must be electrically grounded inaccordance with local codes or, in the absence oflocal codes, with the National Electrical CodeANSI/ NFPA 70, latest edition. (In Canada,installation must be in accordance with the CAN 1-B149.1 and .2 Installation Codes for Gas BurningAppliances and/ or local codes).• Remove all tape and packaging before using therange. Destroy the carton and plastic bags afterunpacking the range. Never allow children to play withpackaging material.• Be sure your appliance is properly installed andgrounded by a qualified technician. Installation,electrical connections and grounding mustcomply with all applicable codes.• Install only per installation instructionsincluded in the literature package for this range.• Ask your dealer to recommend a qualifiedtechnician and an authorized repair service.• Know how to disconnect the power to the range atthe circuit breaker or fuse box in and the gas supply atthe shutoff in case of an emergency.• Do not repair or replace any part of theappliance unless specifically recommendedin the manuals. All other servicing should be doneby a qualified technician. This may reduce the risk ofpersonal injury and damage to the range.• When testing the supply piping system at testpressures in excess of 1/2 psig (3.5 kPa), theappliance and its indiviual shut-off valve mustbe disconnected from the gas piping system.• When testing the supply piping system at testpressures equal to or less than 1/2 psig(3.5 kPa), the appliance must be isolated fromthe gas supply piping system by closing itsindividual manual shut-off valve.• Never modify or alter the construction of arange by removing leveling legs, panels, wire covers,anti-tip brackets/screws, or any other part of theproduct.• Do not lift door by door handle. Remove the doorfor easier handling and installation.
