Use a 1/16” hex key to turn the retaining screwat the bottom of the sensor housing clockwiseuntil it is fully recessed.Figure 2. Retaining Screw Location.2. Use a No. 2 flat-blade screwdriver to gently prythe sensor cover away from the mounting baseat the bottom, and rotate upwards until thehousing is separated from the base.3. Disconnect sensor wiring by doing the following:a. If the sensor is connected with an RJ-11cable, carefully remove RJ-11 plug from theback of the sensor.b. If the sensor wiring is connected to aterminal block, note the terminal locationsof each wire. It is advisable to take apicture of the wiring for reference during there-assembly process. Then, carefullyremove the wires from the sensor terminalblock(s).4. Remove the circuit board from the sensorhousing by gently prying above the two retainingclips with the No. 2 flat-blade screwdriver.Figure 3. Circuit Board Retaining Tabs. |
