CLEANING ANDMAINTENANCECleaning your dishwasher is important tomaintain the machine’s service lifeMake sure that the water softening setting(If available) is done correctly and correctamount of detergent is used to preventlimescale accumulation. Refill the saltcompartment when the salt sensor lightcomes on.Oil and limescale may build up in yourDishwasher over time. If this occurs:• Fill the detergent compartmentbut do not load any dishes. Selecta programme which runs at hightemperature and run the Dishwasherempty. If this does not clean yourDishwasher sufficiently, use acleaning agent designed for use withdishwashers.• To extend the life of your dishwasher,clean the appliance regularly on eachmonth• Wipe the door seals regularly with adamp cloth to remove any accumulatedresidue or foreign objects.8.1. FiltersClean the filters and spray arms at leastonce a week. If any food waste remainsor foreign objects on the coarse andfine filters, remove them and clean themthoroughly with water.a) Micro Filter b) Coarse Filterc) Metal FilterTo remove and clean the filter combination,turn it counter clockwise and remove it bylifting it upwards (1).Pull the coarse filter outof the micro filter (2).Then pull and removethe metal filter (3).Rinse the filter with lots ofwater until it is free of residue. Reassemblethe filters. Replace the filter insert, androtate it clockwise (4).• Never use your dishwasher without afilter.• Incorrect fitting of the filter will reducethe washing effectiveness.• Clean filters are necessary for properrunning of the machine.8.2. Spray armsMake sure that the spray holes are notclogged and that no food waste or foreignobject is stuck to the spray arms. If there isany clogging,remove the spray arms andclean them under water. To remove theupper spray arm undo the nut holding it inposition by turning it clockwise and pullingit downwards. Make sure that the nut isproperly tightened when refitting the upperspray arm.3 41 2acb
