Scanning glass and rollersClean the scanning glass and rollers frequently to ensure the quality oftransmitted images and copies. Open the operation panel (grasp thefinger hold and pull up), and wipe the scanning glass and rollers witha soft cloth.♦ Make sure that all dirt and stains (such as correcting fluid) areremoved, as dirt and stains will cause vertical lines on transmittedimages and copies. If necessary, use a cloth moistened withisopropyl alcohol.♦ Adhesive cellophane tape is useful for removal of debris from therollers.
