The View Option functions can beoperated with the remote control unit.APPSThe application window can be displayed by selecting"APPS" on the MENU screen.• You can display the application window by pressing APPSon the remote control unit. (See page 22.)View ModeThis function changes the screen size.Select "View Option" on the menu to display the ViewMode menu screen.The View Mode menu varies depending on the input source.• You can select View Mode by pressing VIEW MODE onthe remote control unit.— See page 24 for adjusting the video being input from aTV, other audiovisual equipment, USB-Video, DLNA-Video or Internet applications.— See page 56 for adjusting the video being input from a PC.FreezeAllows you to capture and freeze a moving image thatyou are watching.• You can select Freeze by pressing FREEZE on the remotecontrol unit. See page 21 for details of Freeze function.Change AudioAllows you to change the audio when multiple audio isavailable for the program you are watching.■ MTS/SAP stereo modeThe TV has a feature that allows reception of soundother than the main audio for the program. This featureis called Multi-channel Television Sound (MTS). The TVwith MTS can receive mono sound, stereo soundand Secondary Audio Programs (SAP). The SAP featureallows a TV station to broadcast other information,which could be audio in another language or somethingcompletely different like weather information.You can enjoy Hi-Fi stereo sound or SAP broadcastswhere available.• Stereo broadcasts: View programs like live sportingevents, shows and concerts in dynamic stereo sound.• SAP broadcasts: Receive TV broadcasts in either MAINor SAP sound.MAIN sound: The normal program soundtrack (either inmono or stereo).SAP sound: Listen to a second language, supplementarycommentary or other information. (SAP is mono sound.)If stereo sound is difficult to hear.• Obtain a clearer sound by manually switching to fixedmono-sound mode.You can change MTS as shown below to match thetelevision broadcast signal.Press ENTER to toggle between audio modes.Examples: when receiving MTS and SAPSTEREO mode: STEREO MONOSTEREO + SAP mode: ST(SAP) SAP(ST) MONOMAIN + SAP mode: MAIN SAPMONO mode: MONO■ Digital broadcasting audio modeThe types of audio transmitted in a digital broadcast includeSURROUND as well as MONO and STEREO. In addition, itis possible for multiple audio tracks to accompany a singlevideo track.Press ENTER to toggle between audio modes.Example: when receiving Digital broadcastingSTEREO (Audio1) STEREO (Audio2)SURROUND (Audio3)• MTS only operates while in TV mode. |
