Ensure Health & Safety, local authority, generalworkshop practice regulations are adhered to when usingthis equipment. WARNING! Installation site must be equipped withsuitable fire extinguishers (water must not be used) andescape routes. WARNING! Disconnect the air supply from the tank beforechanging accessories, servicing or performing anymaintenance. Maintain the tank in good condition (use an authorised serviceagent). Replace or repair damaged parts. Use genuine parts only.Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate thewarranty. locate the tank in a suitable work area. ensure the tankstands on a firm, level surface. Keep area clean and tidy andfree from unrelated materials. ensure the area is wellventilated and has adequate lighting. WARNING! Ensure specified air pressure is maintainedand not exceeded. Keep air hose away from heat, oil and sharp edges. Check airhose for wear before each use, and ensure that allconnections are secure. WARNING! This tank is recommended for use only withdegreasing solvents suitable for air operated tanks.Ensure you follow makers instructions for solvent use. ensure solvent flash point is above 140°F. We recommendyou use Sealey solvent - contact your local dealer for details. Keep the tank clean. Remove and clean the suction filterregularly for best performance. WARNING! DO NOT SMOKE and keep sources of ignition,such as heaters, lamps, etc., away from the unit, togetherwith flammable or combustible materials, as there is anexplosion risk. DO NOT modify or jam the parts washer lid open, as this willmake the fusible fire link inoperative which is dangerouspractice and will invalidate the warranty and your insurance. When cleaning parts ensure that nothing in the tank,including any parts basket, is in a position that wouldprevent the lid from closing fully if and when the fusiblelink activates. WARNING! Wear approved safety eye protection, maskand gloves. If solvent gets on skin or in eyes washthoroughly with water and take any other action asrequired by the solvent instructions. Remove ill fitting clothing, ties, watches, rings and other loosejewellery, contain long hair and wear appropriate protectiveclothing. Maintain correct balance and footing. ensure the floor is notslippery and wear non-slip shoes. Keep non-essential persons away from the working area. In case of fire in tank, do not attempt to move unit or removeparts from tank. The lid is fusible and will automatically closeextinguishing fire. Avoid accidental starting of the washer by ensuring the unit isdisconnected from the air supply when not in use. DO NOT use the tank for any purpose other than for which it isdesigned. DO NOT operate the tank if any parts are missing or damagedas this may cause failure and/or personal injury. DO NOT over-fill the tank. DO NOT use air line to blow dry components in tank. Only useair gun supplied. dO NOT direct air gun at yourself or others. INTRODUCTION & SPECIFICATION3. ASSEMBLYAs you unpack the product, check contents. Should there beany damaged or missing parts contact your supplier immediately.3.1. Remove all parts from the carton and from inside the tank.3.2 IMPORTANT! You must remove the transit bolt from thelid stay as indicated in fig.1 as the fire safety mechanismwill not work if the bolt remains in place.3.3. lay clean cardboard on the floor to protect the tank paintwork and carefully turn the tank upside down whilst holdingthe lid closed.3.4. Assemble legs to the brackets on the bottom of the tank withscrews and hex nuts, (hand tight only).3.5. Set the lower shelf among the four legs and fix with screwsand hex nuts.level theshelf andtightenscrews.3.6. Now tightenthe leg screwsand carefullyturn assembledunit up correctway onto it’slegs whilstholding the lidclosed.The heavy duty steel tank is made in one piece and is fitted with afully sealed, air operated, magnetic drive pump unit. The tank issuitable for cleaning large engine components. Included is an airblow gun for fast drying of workpiece. The lid of tank is fitted withfusible link hinge which automatically snaps lid shut in the event of afire. Supplied with removable shelf and parts basket. When cleaning is complete, ensure all controls are in the ‘off’position and that the air supply is disconnected. WARNING!
