GENERAL SAFETY9 Familiarise yourself with this products application and limitations, as well as the specific potential hazards peculiar to the glue gun. WARNING! Disconnect the charging lead before changing accessories, servicing or performing any maintenance.9 Maintain the glue gun in good condition (use an authorised service agent).9 Replace or repair damaged parts. Use recommended parts only. Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate thewarranty. WARNING! Always wear approved eye or face protection when operating the glue gun.9 Keep the work area clean, uncluttered and ensure there is adequate lighting.9 Remove ill fitting clothing. Remove ties, watches, rings, and other loose jewellery, and contain and/ or tie back long hair.9 Maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the floor is not slippery and wear non-slip shoes,9 Secure non stable workpiece with a clamp, vice or other adequate holding device.8 DO NOT touch the hot nozzle or the silicon cap.8 DO NOT use the glue gun for a task it was not designed to perform.8 DO NOT operate the glue gun if any parts are damaged or missing as this may cause failure and/or possible personal injury.8 DO NOT hold the workpiece by hand. Use clamps or a vice (not included) to secure the workpiece. Available from your Sealey stockist.8 DO NOT get the glue gun wet or use in damp or wet locations or areas where there is condensation.8 DO NOT place nozzle close to your face (especially eyes, ears, etc) or other persons or animals.8 DO NOT allow children or untrained persons to operate the glue gun.8 DO NOT operate the glue gun when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.8 DO NOT get glue on your skin.8 DO NOT inhale any vapour given off by the glue.8 DO NOT carry the glue gun with your finger on the trigger.8 DO NOT use the glue gun where there are flammable liquids, solids or gases such as paint solvents, etc.8 DO NOT leave the glue gun operating/heating up unattended.9 Protect work surface from glue spilt during warm up phase and whilst being used.9 After use place the glue gun down to cool in a safe manner. Ensure it has cooled down completely before storage.9 When not in use switch the glue gun off, store the tool in a safe, dry child proof area.NOTE: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities orlack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of theappliance by a person responsible for their safety.
