28ReceptionThe SFX-32 provides 3 reception modes: AUTO, MANUAL and ANSWER.AUTO MAN(I PULSE TONE Set the ] AUTO/MENU] switch to select the AUTO or MANUAL mode.—m m_.._Press [ANSW~ key to set to the ANSWER mode.AUTOThe SFX-32 receives incoming fax messages automatically.The feature switches No. 09 and No. 16 offer you a variety of selections regarding the auto reception mode settings.See page 82.Incoming telehpone calls are received by the built-in phone. The telephone rings.MANUALUse this mode if you use the SFX-32 mainly for phone calls.You can receive an incoming fax message after completing a phone conversation.Incoming telephone calls are received by the built-in phone and connected extension phone (if any).
