INSTRUCTION MANUALCEILING RECESSEDMOUNTING BRACKETVA-DK01Safety PrecautionsBefore starting the installation procedure, please read these instructions carefully. Make sureto keep these instructions handy for future reference.This mounting bracket is used for recessed installation on the ceiling of a dome style camera.This recessed mounting bracket requires an opening to be made in the ceiling. The mountingbracket must be firmly attached in the opening.Installation1AC6P1P2061--L9BCA/JP(1298HI)WARNING This indicates a point that if not respected may causedeath or serious injuries.CAUTION This indicates a point that if not respected may causeinjuries and/or extensive material damage.Installation location strength checkConfirm that the selected location can support the total weight of the camera andthe mounting bracket. A weak installation location can cause the camera andsupport to fall down.For strong installation, reinforce gypsum board, ceiling tiles, etc. Make sure themounting bracket is firmly attached or else the camera and mounting bracket mayfall.Consult your dealer for installationThe installation requires certain knowledge and experience and should be referredto a professional. If the support and/or camera fall they may cause severe injuries.Do not let the bracket and camera dangle from the cableDuring installation, do not let the bracket and camera dangle unsupported from thecable. If not, they may fall and cause severe injuries.SpecificationsCut a hole of 174 mm in diameter into the ceiling.The ceiling thickness can be 9 - 25 mm.Attach base B to the ceiling recessed mounting bracketA, using the four (4) screws C (supplied with thecamera).Note:The maximum allowed tightening torque for screws Cis 36 kgf.cm. If the screws are overtightened, thatmay damage the threads.Connect the coaxial cable to the base.Connect connector A to the camera unit, then press thecamera unit onto the base until it clicks into place.Tighten the four (4) camera unit fixing screws evenly toattach the camera unit.Put both mounting bracket locking clips D straightagainst the mounting bracket, as indicated by thearrows, then insert the mounting bracket into the hole.While holding the mounting bracket in place, push onsection E of both locking clips, then tighten the two (2)screws F to lock them.Align the hooks on cover plate G with the square holeson the mounting bracket H, then insert the hooks andturn the cover plate clockwise to lock it in place.Be careful not to drop the cover plate during installation orremoval.Weight : Approx. 730 gCover plate diameter : 192 mmColor : IvoryApproximate Munsell color system value 5.4Y8.3/0.8(semi-gloss)Features and specifications are subject to change without prior notice orobligations.SANYO Electric co Ltd.Printed in Japan |
