64The WARNING TEMP. indicator shows the state of the function which protects the projector. Check the state ofthe WARNING TEMP. indicator and the POWER indicator to take proper maintenance.WARNING TEMP. indicatorThe projector is shut down and the WARNIN TEMP.indicator is blinking red.When the temperature inside the projector reaches acertain level, the projector will be automatically shut down toprotect the inside of the projector. The POWER indicator isblinking while the projector is being cooled down. When theprojector has cooled down enough (to its normal operatingtemperature), it can be turned on again by pressing the ON/STAND-BY button.The projector is shut down and the WARNINGTEMP. indicator lights red.When the projector detects an abnormal condition, it isautomatically shut down to protect the inside of the projectorand the WARNING TEMP. indicator lights red. In this case,unplug the AC power cord and reconnect it, and thenturn the projector on once again to verify operation. If theprojector can not be turned on and the WARNING TEMP.indicator still lights red, unplug the AC power cord andcontact the service center.CAUTIONDO NOT LEAVE THE PROJECTOR WITH THEAC POWER CORD CONNECTED UNDER ANABNORMAL CONDITION. Check the installing condition to see if the airvents of the projector are not blocked.– Has the projector been installed near an Air-Conditioning/Heating Duct or Vent?
