If you load a completely blank DVD-RW disc, Disc initialize menu will appear, to select adesired Recording Mode to initialize the disc.a Press SETUP.The Setup menu appears.b Use v / V to select the DISC option.c While the DISC option is selected, press B tomove to the second level.d Use v / V to select the DISC Initialize option.e Press B to move to the third level.Start icon is highlighted.f Press ENTER.Disc Initialize menu appears.g Use b / B to select a desired DISC InitializeMode (VR Mode or Video Mode), then pressENTER.h Use b / B to select OK, and press ENTER.It takes a few moments to initialize the disc.i Press ENTER.If you want your recorded discs to be compatible with other DVD players, you MUSTfinalize them:aa Press SETUP on the remote control.bb Use the vv / VV buttons to select DISC option,then press BB.cc Use the vv / VV buttons to select DISC Finalizeoption, then press BB.dd Use the vv / VV buttons to select “Finalize”,then press ENTER.ee Use the bb / BB buttons to select “OK”, thenpress ENTER.Disc Finalization may take a few minutes to com-plete.f Press ENTER.a Connect the “Antenna” or “Cable TV”to the “ANT.
