The DTV willreceive cable or off-air channels, but not at thesame time. If after two searches the DTV still failsto detect any channels, the DTV will tune toVideo1.Note: IfEXIT is pressed,the DTV will skip ChannelSearch and tune to Video1without storing any chan-nels in the Channel Mapdatabase.PRECAUTIONSTo ensure safe operation, please observe the followingprecautions:Replace both batteries at the same time. PIX Shape Key—Use to change the video displayformat. Available options depend on signalreceived and the broadcast’s aspect ratio. Note:Cannot display picture on a full screen. CheckAspect Ratio of broadcast. Then press PIX Shapekey to change setting. Reset Key—Press this key twice to restore factorysettings. The TV will automatically start ChannelSearch and clear all customized settings. Note:Channel scan memory database list of digitaland analog channels will be replaced. If desired,personal settings can be made again using themenu options. Audio Key—Press to select the desired audiomode (if available). Caption Key—Captioning is text informationtransmitted along with the picture and sound soit can be displayed on the TV screen.Press CAPTION to select mode options: DigitalCC1 ~ CC6, or Analog CC1 ~ CC4, OFF, orQuikCap. (QuikCap switches captions on and offwith the Mute function.) Digital Captions can bechanged using the menu settings. Mute Key—Press once to mute the sound.Recall Key—Press to switch between the lasttwo channels selected.Sleep Key—Press this key then the “0” key to setthe Sleep Off Timer. Time can be set in 30-minuteincrements up to 3 hours. Note:The Sleep Timercancels when the TV is turned off or if a power failureoccurs.1– – Key—For Analog Cable channels above 100,press this key, then press the other two numbers.Info Key—Press to display the Digital and AnalogFull Banner information.
