CHARGING THE HANDSET1. Place the handset on the base station for12 hours.The CHARGE indicator lights.*The base station must be connected toAC power. (See page 11.)2. Remove the handset from the basestation. Your telephone is now ready touse.CHARGEindicatorWhen the BATT LOW indicator lights,recharge the handset for a continuous 12hours.REPLACEMENT BATTERYIf the battery fails, replacement batteries are available from an authorized Sanyoservice center.(Replacement battery: SANYO 3N-270AA)STANDBY TIMEWhen the handset battery is fully charged, your Sanyo cordless phone offers upto 3 weeks of continuous standby time. (Listed standby time is measuredunder a situation in which the handset is kept in standby mode only-no phonecalls are made or received). Under normal usage conditions, recharging isrequired more often.10-CHANNEL ACCESS/AUTO SCANThis cordless telephone automatically selects,every time you answer or place a call usingthe handset, a clear channel from 10 frequen-cies available to transmit signals between thebase station and handset.
