Controlling Roaming Charges Using Call GuardIn addition to the roaming icon, Call Guard alerts you whenroaming charges apply. This feature makes it easy to manageyour roaming charges by reminding you when you make orreceive roaming calls. It also requires you to take an additionalstep before placing or answering a roaming call. This additionalstep is not required when you make or receive calls while on theenhanced Sprint Nationwide PCS Network.To Turn Call Guard On or Off:1. Press to access the main menu.2. Sprint: This setting allows you to access the enhanced SprintNationwide PCS Network only and prevents roaming on othernetworks. Automatic: This setting seeks PCS Service. When PCS Service isunavailable, the phone searches for an alternate system. Analog: This setting forces the phone to seek an analogroaming system.
