Initial useSetupRemove the unit from the packaging. Place it on aflat surface.Ensure that the ventilation slits are free.Fold open the lid [2] to access the accessories.Before using the unit for the first timeNote• The atomiser and accessories must be cleaned anddisinfected before they are used for the first time. Forinformation about this, see “Cleaning and disinfec-tion” on page 20.• Attach the compressed-air hose [8] at the bottom ofthe medicine container [11].• Connect the other end of the hose [8] to the hoseconnector [6] on the nebuliser by lightly turning it.Mains connectionConnect the unit only to the mains voltage listed onthe type plate.• Insert the mains cable plug [1] into a suitable socket.• Push the plug completely into the mains socket.Note• Ensure that there is a socket near to where the unitwill stand.• Lay the mains cable in such a way that no one cantrip over it.• To disconnect the nebuliser from the mains after use,first switch off the device and then remove the plugfrom the socket.
