WIP-6000M User Guide34Locking/Unlocking theKeypadYou can lock the keypad and volume keys to avoidpressing keys by accident.To lock the keypad, press and hold the * key in IdleMode until the ‘Keypad locked’message appears onthe display.You can also answer incoming calls using any keys,even if you lock the keypad and volume keys.When you end the call, your phone returns to the KeyLock Mode after the period of time specified in theAuto keylock menu option(Menu 6.4).You can dial emergency calls even if you lock thekeypad and volume keys. Enter an emergency number.When the confirmation message appears, press theYes soft key or key. When you end the call, yourphone returns to the Key Lock Mode after the periodof time specified in the Auto keylock menu option(Menu 6.4).To exit the Key Lock Mode, press the Unlock soft keyand then press the * key again. The ‘Keypadunlocked’message appears.You can also set the phone to automatically lock thekeypad and volume keys in the Auto keylock menuoption(Menu 6.4).
