Section 442Menu NavigationYou can tailor the phone’s range of functions to yourneeds using menus and sub-menus. Menus and sub-menus can be accessed by scrolling using the Navigationkeys or by using the shortcuts.There are two way for accessing a menu option.• Navigating through the list.• Entering the shortcut number of the menu option.Navigating through the List1. In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access the mainmenus.2. Scroll using the Navigation keys to reach a main menu,Settings for example. Press the Select soft key or thekey to select the menu.3. You can access them by scrolling using the Up andDown Navigation key and pressing the Select soft key orthe key.If the menu that you have selected contains furtheroptions, repeat this step.4. Select an option and press the Select soft key or thekey to confirm the chosen settingUsing ShortcutsThe menu items, such as menus, sub-menus, and options,are numbered and can be accessed quickly by using theirshortcut numbers. For the main menus, you can accessany one of them by pressing the number keys (1 to 0)corresponding to their location on the screen.
