When you are prompted to enter text, press tochange the character input mode.2. Select one of the following options: T9 (English) to enter characters using predictive T9Text Input (see page 46). Alpha to enter characters by tapping the keypad(see page 47). Symbol to enter symbols (see page 48). Number to enter numbers by pressing thenumbers on the keypad (see page 48). Preset Msg to enter pre-programmed messages(see page 49). Recent Msg to select text from a list of recentmessages (see page 49). Emoticons to enter “emoticons” (see page 49).Tip: When entering text, press the * (Shift) key to change lettercapitalization (ABC > abc > Abc).
