153TV Tuner CardUsing a TV tuner card, you can watchand record TV programs.Some models have built-in TV tunercards. This manual describes their usageassuming your computer has a built-in TVtuner card.There are two types of TV tunercards, built-in and external types,and they may not support a re-cording function depending on themodel.Connecting Devices► Connecting an external-type remotecontrol sensorConnect the external-type remote controlsensor to the USB port of the computer.► Connecting to the InternetTo view the TV Guide or to move to Me-dia Center sites in Media Center, youhave to connect to the Internet.Connect the network (LAN) cable to theLAN port of the computer.If the computer is not connected tothe Internet, you cannot use the TVGuide (Channel Information) andthe Online Spotlight functions.► Connecting the TV antennaTo use the Media Center TV function, youhave to connect the TV antenna to theTV tuner card.If your computer has a built-in TV tunercard, connect the TV antenna cable tothe TV Antenna Input port.If you do not have an installed TVtuner card, you cannot use the TVfunction.
