These are each of the 3memory zones/users explained on page 11.From here on, the 3 party memory capability willbe referred to as "memory zones" or "zones".Press the "SET" button to toggle between eachof three memory zones and to select the zone inwhich you would like to store your measurement. Then pressthe "START/STOP" button to begin the measurementprocess. The monitor will automatically inflate to the levelthat is right for you.•*If you select zone No. 1, your blood pressure will be record-ed as one of the 30 readings available for that zone. Thesame is true for zones 2 and 3. When taking measurements,be sure and select the correct zone number so that the mea-surement is registered to the appropriate zone.• Once the cuff is properly applied and you are seated with yourfeet flat on the floor you are ready to take a measurement.You will feel the cuff get tighter around your arm - this is nor-mal. It should not inflate to the point of discomfort. If thisoccurs, the cuff is secured too tightly. Press "START/STOP"and rewrap the cuff leaving more room between your armand the cuff.•When your measurement iscomplete the monitor willdeflate automatically, releasingthe air pressure in the cuff.NOTE: Blood pressure constantly changes during the course ofa day. Occasionally high or low readings do not necessarilymean your monitor is malfunctioning or that you are ill. It isimportant to speak with your doctor to learn what your normalblood pressure is and if you experience related abnormal mea-surements.••Numbers will appear on thedigital display. This is the nor-mal process the monitor goesthrough to determine your blood pressure. Don’t be alarmedif you notice the numbers quickly change, or go higher thanyou believe your blood pressure to be.•The entire measurementprocess should take less than aminute. Once measurement iscomplete, your blood pressureand pulse measurements will bedisplayed. The monitor willautomatically turn off after approximately one minute.
