Additional information on some of the functionsis also in the Appendix of this manual.Settings Menu FunctionsDisplay3D SettingsSet up the 3D related functions. 3D Blu-ray Playback Mode:Select whether to play a Blu-rayDisc with 3D contents in 3D Mode.If you move to the Home or SmartHub Home menu while in 3Dmode, the product will switch to 2Dautomatically. Screen Size: Enter the size of theTV attached to the product. Theproduct will automatically adjust the3D output to the screen size of theTV.TV AspectRatioLets you adjust the output of theproduct to the screen size of yourTV. See page 51.BD WiseBD Wise is Samsung’s latest inter-connectivity feature.When you connect a Samsungproduct and a Samsung TV with BDWise to each other via HDMI, andBD Wise is on in both the productand TV, the product outputs video atthe video resolution and frame rateof the Blu-ray/DVD Disc.ResolutionLets you set the output resolution ofthe HDMI video signal toBD Wise, Auto, 1080p, 1080i,720p, 576p/480p. The numberindicates the number of lines ofvideo per frame. The i and p indicateinterlaced and progressive scan,respectively. The more lines, thehigher quality.Movie Frame(24Fs)Setting the Movie Frame (24Fs)feature to Auto lets the productadjust its HDMI output to 24 framesper second automatically forimproved picture quality if attachedto a 24Fs compatible TV.• You can enjoy the Movie Frame(24Fs) feature only on a TVsupporting this frame rate.• Movie Frame is only availablewhen the product is in the HDMI1080p output resolution modes.DVD 24fpsConversionConverts DVD playback to 24frames per second and outputs it viaHDMI.
