When the Grabber function ison, you can move a web page upand down without dragging thescroll bar.The Grabber function is onlyavailable in Pointer Browsing.ApprovedSitesLets you restrict your children’saccess to inappropriate web pagesby allowing access only to the websites you have registered.Every time you access ApprovedSites, the PIN screen appears. Thefirst time you access ApprovedSites, enter the default PIN, 0000using the number buttons on yourremote.You can change the PIN using theReset password for the ApprovedSites function. See below. Approved Sites feature : Turnsthe Approved Sites function onor off. Reset password for ApprovedSites : Change the ApprovedSites password. Add current site : Lets you addthe currently displayed web siteto the Approved Sites list. Manage Approved Sites : Letsyou key in URLs to add to theApproved Sites List and deletesites from the Approved Siteslist. If you turn Approved Siteson and have not added any sitesto the Approved Sites list, youwill not be able to access anyInternet sites.PrivateBrowsingOn/offEnable or disable the Privacy mode.When the Privacy mode is enabled,the browser does not retain theURLs of sites you visit. If you wantto enable Privacy mode, select OK.If the Privacy mode is running, the“Stop” icon appears in front ofthe URL at the top of the screen.To disable Privacy mode, selectit again when Privacy mode isenabled.Web BrowserSettings Set as homepage : You can setthe Browser's home page. Pop-up Block : Turns the PopupBlock on and off. Page Block : You can determinewhether to block advertisementsand select the URLs for whichadvertisements are blocked. General : You can deletepersonal in information such aswebsite history and browsingdata (cookies, etc.), and resetall web browser settings to theirfactory defaults. Encoding : You can set theEncoding setting for web pagesto Automatic or select theencoding format manually from alist. Pointer : You can set the speedof the cursor when the cursoris set to Pointer and turn SmartCursor On and Off. Browser Information : Displaysthe version number and copyrightinformation for the Web Browser.Help Provides basic information aboutthe operation of the Web Browser.| NOTES | Depending on the web site, some of the Web BrowserSetting functions may not be activated. Functions thatare not activated are greyed out and cannot be used. |
