12Pairing and connecting the hands-free car kit with a phone1. Enter Pairing mode.Turn on your hands-free car kit and press and hold the Talk button until the•blue indicator light stays lit.If you turn the hands-free car kit on for the first time, it proceeds into Pairing•mode immediately after the language for the voice prompt is selected.2. Activate the Bluetooth feature on your phone and search for the hands-free carkit (see your phone’s user manual).3. Select the hands-free car kit (HF1000) from the list of devices found by yourphone.4. Enter the Bluetooth PIN (0000, 4 zeros) to pair and connect the hands-free carkit to your phone.Your hands-free car kit supports the Simple Pairing feature which allows thehands-free car kit to be paired with a phone without requesting a PIN. This feature isavailable for phones that are compliant with Bluetooth version 2.1 or higher.The hands-free car kit also can be paired via the Active pairing feature,see page 15.
