Connecting VHF and UHF AntennasI N S TA L L AT I O NC h a p t e r Tw o1Place the wires from the twinleads under the screws on the300-75 ohm adaptor (notsupplied). Use a screwdriverto tighten the screws.2Plug the adaptor into the “ANT1 IN” terminal on the rearpanel.Antennas with 300-ohm Flat Twin LeadsIf you are using an off-air antenna (such as a roof antenna or “rabbit ears”) that has 300-ohmtwin flat leads, follow the directions below.Plug the antenna lead into the“ANT 1 IN” terminal on therear panel.Antennas with 75-ohm Round Leads1Connect both antenna leads to the combiner.2Plug the combiner into the “ANT 1 IN” terminal on the rearpanel.Separate VHF and UHF AntennasIf you have two separate antennas for your TV (one VHF and one UHF), you must combinethe two antenna signals before connecting the antennas to the TV. This procedure requires anoptional combiner-adaptor (available at most electronics shops).
