If you planto use your dryer with LP (liquid propane)gas, it must be converted for safe andproper performance by a qualified servicetechnician. (LNG models only)You must check the burner of your modeland use the proper LP Kit accordingly. Tocheck the detail information of the burner,open the door and check the rating labellocation on the door frame.- 20,000 BTU: LPKIT-4/XAA (DC98-04114A)- 22,000 BTU: LPKIT-3/XAA (DC99-00792A)• A 1/2” (1.27 cm) gas supply line isrecommended and must be reduced toconnect to the 3/8” (1 cm) gas line on yourdryer. The National Fuel Gas Code requiresthat an accessible, approved manual gasshut-off valve be installed within 6” of yourdryer.• Gas dryers installed in residential garagesmust be raised 18 inches (46 cm) above thefloor.• Additionally, a 1/8” (0.3 cm) N.P.T. (NationalPipe Thread) plugged tapping, accessiblefor test gauge connection, must be installedimmediately upstream of your dryer’s gassupply connection.• Your dryer must be disconnected from thegas supply pipe system during any pressuretesting of the system at pressures greaterthan 1/2 psi (3.5 kPa).• Do not reuse old flexible metal gas lines.Flexible gas lines must be designed andcertified by the standard for connectors forGas Appliances, ANSI Z21.24 • CSA 6.10.NOTE• Your dryer uses an automatic ignitionsystem to ignite the burner.
