Media PlayYour Blu-ray Disc Player can play content locatedon Blu-ray/DVD/CD discs, USB devices, PCs, andDLNA compatible cell phones. To play contentlocated on your PC or on a DLNA compatible cellphone, you must connect your PC and the playerto your network and download and install theAllShare network software on your PC.Playing Commercial video Discs1. Push a disc gently into the slot with the disc’slabel facing up. Playback starts automatically.2. If playback does not start automatically, pressthe 6 button on the remote or see “TheAllShare Play Screen” below.The AllShare Play ScreenFor all media, except for commercail video discs,the AllShare Play Main Screen or one of itssubscreens is your primary means of accessingand selecting content to view or play. For example,if you connect a USB device to the player, theplayer will display the content located on the USBdevice on the AllShare Play USB screen.| NOTE |\ You can use the AllShare Play Screen to access acommercial video disc. For example, when you stop amovie, but leave the disc in the player, you can start itagain using the AllShare Play Screen. However, unlikeother media, when you insert a commercial video disc,it bypasses the AllShare Play Screen and starts playingautomatically.Accessing the AllShare Play ScreenTo access the AllShare Play Main screen, selectAllShare Play on the Home screen, and then pressthe v button.The AllShare Play Screen at a Glance1My List : Lists recently played or viewed files. If thedevice or media containing files listed in My List isinserted into or connected to the player, you canuse My List to play or view those files.2 Contents Type : Lets you select the type of contentto view or play: Videos, Photos, or Music.3 Device Type : Lets you select the device or mediawhere the content is located.4 Displays the coloured buttons on your remote thatyou can press to access or perform functions.| NOTE |\ The video files played via DLNA will be listed in My Listonly when the network connection has been established.\ Blu-ray/DVD/CD disk contents will not be listed in My List.\ The AllShare Play screen will only display files of theContent Type you selected. For example, if you selectMusic, you will only be able to see music files.
