7AssemblyAttaching the HandlebarsFold the lower handle upwards. Insert a hex bolt into the top holeand fasten with a hex nut. Insert a carriage bolt into the bottomhole and secure with a washer and a triangle knob (see Figure 1).Place the upper handle on the lower handle aligning the hole in thelower handlebar assembly with one of the three holes in the upperhandlebar assembly. Choose which hole to use depending upon thedesired overall height of the handlebars.Insert the carriage bolt through the holes in the upper handle, thelower handle and a washer and attach the triangle knob. Turn thetriangle knob to tighten securely (see Figure 2).Attaching the Grass CatcherLift the discharge flap. Hook the grass catcher bag into the lawn-mower. Fold the discharge flap down again .Adjusting the Cutting HeightThe cutting height can be varied in 7 increments from 1 to 3.35inches with the cutting height adjustment. Pull the handle outwardsslightly to set the required cutting height and release the lever.Inserting/Replacing the BatteryCharge the battery as described in the charger operation manual.Open the battery cover 1. Press the charged battery into thepower tool until it clicks into place 2.
