Installing BatteriesYou will need...• Four AA batteries for the motorcycle• One 7.2V rechargeable Ni-Cd or Ni-MH battery pack(not included)• One battery charger (not included)• One 9V battery for the transmitter (not included)• Phillips screwdriver (not included)Put AA Batteries in the Motorcycle• Loosen the screw on the batterybox cover, located on the seat ofthe motorcycle, and remove thecover.• Take out the battery holder andinsert four AA batteries, matchingthe polarity symbols (+ and -)marked inside.• Replace the battery holder andcover, and then secure it with the screw.Put 7.2V Rechargeable Battery Pack in Motorcycle• Loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover, locatedon the bottom of the motorcycle,and remove the cover.• Place the battery pack in thecompartment, attaching the batterypack’s white plastic connector tothe motorcycle’s matchingconnector. Do not force themtogether. They only fit one way.• Replace the cover and secure itwith the screw.Put 9V Battery in theTransmitter• Remove the batterycompartment cover.• Insert the battery inthe transmitter,matching the polarity(+ and -) symbolsmarked inside.• Replace the cover.Honda CR250R Motocross Bike featuring Ricky Carmichael60-4353XuhDpyqrqInstalling the Antenna• Route the loose end of the motorcycle’s antenna wire through the supplied antenna tube.• Insert the tube securely into the motorcycle’s tube holder.• Extend the transmitter’s antenna to its full length before driving the motorcycle. For maximum range, hold the transmitterwith the antenna as high as possible and point it straight up.• Retract the transmitter’s antenna when you are finished driving the motorcycle.TrPrTrUHonda CR250R Motorcycle ♦ TransmitterRicky Carmichael Action Figure ♦ Display Stand ♦ Antenna TubeTwo 4-Way Wrenches ♦ Three Allen Wrenches ♦ Owner’s ManualAdjusting the Trim ControlsAdjust the trim controls to make the motorcycle drive properly.Throttle Trim• Place your motorcycle on the display stand so the rear wheel does nottouch the ground.• Turn the transmitter and motorcycle on.• If the rear wheel moves, turn the TRIM VOL F/R on the transmitterclockwise or counter-clockwise until the wheel stops.Warning: Never use the throttle trim to make the motorcycle go.Steering TrimIf your motorcycle does not drive in a straight line, turn the TRIM VOL ST leftor right until your motorcycle moves in a straight line. Release the steeringwheel before you make the adjustment.Driving the Motorcycle• Turn the motorcycle and transmitter on. The LED lights on the transmitter.• Position the motorcycle straight and upright, holding the back of the seat and lifting the real wheeloff the ground. Be sure to find a large open area with no cars or curbs to run the motorcycle.• Pull the transmitter’s throttle trigger to full speed and release the motorcycle.Warning: Keep your fingers away from the spinning tire.• When you finish driving, turn the motorcycle off first, and then turn the transmitter off. See Page 2for Driving Tips.Transmitter Controls• Throttle Trigger - Pull the trigger back toward the grip to move forward. Release the trigger to stop.• Throttle Trigger Brake - The throttle trigger is used to slow the motorcycle down also. Push thetrigger forward away from the grip to apply the brake and reduce speed.• Steering Wheel - Steer the wheel left to go left. Steer the wheel right to go right. If thetrim is not set properly, themotorcycle might continueto move forward when yourelease the trigger.TRIM VOL ST - Adjuststhe wheel alignment sothe motorcycle drives in astraight line when yourelease the steeringwheel.Recreate all of your favorite RickyCarmichael moves by adjusting thehead, arms and legs, while racing up toan impressive 20 m.p.h.!Cool Stunts• When driving at a medium or highspeed, the motorcycle may raisethe front tire off the ground if youdrive on a surface that has smallbumps or obstacles.• To fish tail the motorcycle, startmaking a turn at a low speed. Then,immediately change the direction ofthe turn and increase the speed.• You can perform jumps with yourmotorcycle off ramps that are eightinches high or less.Hint: When transporting your motorcycle, do not pick it up by the driver’s head. Use both hands to supportthe motorcycle, one holding the front fork and the other holding the rear of the seat. |
