iPod/iPhone playback 0415EnEnglish Français Español3 Connect your iPod/iPhone.• When your iPod/iPhone is not connected to the unit,close the iPod/iPhone connector port firmly.Connecting your TV1To watch iPod/iPhone images on a television, connect it usingthe included video cable. For details, see Connecting using avideo cable on page 6.• When an iPod/iPhone is connected to the unit, the TVoutput setting of the iPod/iPhone is automatically set toON.2Caution• Before making or changing the connections, switch offthe power and disconnect the power cord from thepower outlet. Plugging in should be the final step.Playing your iPod/iPhoneCaution• When your iPod/iPhone is connected to this unit andyou wish to operate the iPod/iPhone directly, be sure tosteady the iPod/iPhone with the other hand to preventmalfunctions due to faulty contacts.1 Connect your iPod/iPhone.• If an iPod/iPhone is connected when this unit is on,playback of the iPod/iPhone will not begin.2 Press FUNCTION / to select iPod as theinput source.is shown on the front panel display.3 Press PLAY.• The available iPod/iPhone’s playback control by this unitis , , , , , , .• In the following case, operate your iPod/iPhone directly3 :- Searching a file by artist name or genre.- Playing in the repeat or shuffle mode.- Watching images stored in iPod/iPhone on yourtelevision.ImportantIf this unit can not play the iPod/iPhone when Err is displayed,perform the following troubleshooting checks:• Check whether the iPod/iPhone is supported by this unit.• Reconnect the iPod/iPhone to the unit. If this doesn’tseem to work, try resetting your iPod/iPhone.If the iPod/iPhone cannot be operated, check the followingitems:• Is the iPod/iPhone connected correctly? Reconnect theiPod/iPhone to the unit.• Is the iPod/iPhone experiencing a hangup? Try resettingthe iPod/iPhone, and reconnect it to the unit.Tip• iPod/iPhone recharging occurs whenever an iPod/iPhone is connected to this unit.
