TAcan be activated for both a TP station (a sta-tion that broadcasts traffic information) or an-other enhanced network’s TP station (a stationcarrying information that cross-references TPstations).Tap to changes the setting as fol-lows:(default):Turns off the TA function.:Turns on the TA function.Setting the volume for traffic announce-mentsUse the Volume (+/–) button to adjustthe TA volume when a traffic announce-ment begins.The newly set volume is stored in memory andrecalled for subsequent traffic announce-ments.Searching for an RDS station using PTYinformationYou can search for general types of broadcast-ing programmes.1 Tap to open the search menu.2 Tap or to select a programmetype.There are four programme types.News&Info―Popular―Classics―Others3 Tap [Start] to begin the search.The unit searches for and displays stationsbroadcasting that type of programme servicename.
