15EnInstallation and Connections Français EnglishPower Cord ConnectionConnect the power cord after all component connectionshave been completed.1 Connect the power cord to this unit.2 Plug the power cord into a power outlet.CAUTION÷ Use only the power cord provided.÷ Do not use a power supply voltage other than that indicated(AC 100 - 120 V, 50/60 Hz) as this may cause fire or electricshock.÷ For the plasma display, a three-core power cord with a groundterminal is used for efficiency protection. Always be sure toconnect the power cord to a three-pronged grounded outletand make sure that the cord is properly grounded. If you use apower source converter plug, use an outlet with a groundterminal and screw down the ground line.Control Cord ConnectionWhen control cord connections are made, remote controloperation of connected PIONEER components that bearthe Î logo mark is done through the remote sensor onthis unit.When the connection is made to the CONTROL IN jackon another unit, the remote sensor of that component willno longer receive signals.
