7EnglishEnA HARDWARE TOUR1 SCSI termination switchThis switch is used to turn the drive'sinternal SCSI termination switch on and off.Note that this switch is set on at the time ofshipment.2 Data block size switchThis switch is used to set the data block size.When this switch is turned on the data blocksize is set to a length of 2048 bytes, andwhen it is set off the data block size is setto a length of 512 bytes.3 Termination indicatorWhen the drive is installed in a changer andits power cable has been connected, thisindicator lights up if the drive's SCSItermination switch has been turned on.4 Wiring monitor indicatorMeaning of indicator when indicator islit up:¶ Indicates that a disc has been insertedinto the drive.¶ This indicator also lights up when thedrive is installed in a changer and itspower cable has been connected.Meaning of indicator when indicatorflashes in 2-second intervals:¶ This indicator flashes in 2-secondintervals when the drive is installed in achanger and its changer interface cablehas been connected.Meaning of indicator when indicatorflashes in 0.5-second intervals:¶ This indicator flashes in 0.5-secondintervals when the drive in question hasbeen specified as the drive to beswapped during the swapping of drives.5 Changer interface cableThis cable must be connected to thec h a n g e r- i n t e r n a l c h a n g e r i n t e r f a c econnector.6 Power cableThis cable must be connected to the powerinlet located in the changer.7 Lock leverWhen a drive is to be removed from thechanger, flip the lock lever to the releasedposition and then pull the drive out from thechanger.8 SCSI ID switchesThese switches are used to set the drive'sSCSI ID. Pressing the upper switch causesthe displayed SCSI ID to be decremented,and pressing the lower switch converselycauses the SCSI ID to be incremented.
